Nine producers, each owning a patch of Novello's Ravera Cru, will come to London to explain the complexity and greatness of this top class vineyard.
This special seminar will give a unique, indepth view of one of Barolo’s finest crus which in recent years has reached a stardom only challenged by the likes of Cannubi.
Each of the nine producers of Ravera will present two vintages of their wine. This comparative tasting, a world’s first and featuring producers, vintages and lieu dits, will give a complete view of the Ravera cru and its unique qualities that shine through in each of the wines presented. Walter Speller, Editor Italy of www.JancisRobinson.com will lead the seminar.
In the afternoon at 1:00pm a walk-around tasting featuring other Barolos as well as the rare Pelaverga and the white Nascetta will take place in the presence of all eight producers.
